Janssen-Lagorio Performance Center
Located between the Alex G. Spanos Center and the Long Theatre on the West side of campus, the $7.5 million Janssen-Lagorio Performance Center opened on October 28th, 2009. The 25,800 square-foot multipurpose gymnasium can be divided into two identical practice gyms by a center curtain that can be lowered from the ceiling giving each side three volleyball courts, a regulation basketball court, and three basketball hoops with keys for post and free throw drills; allowing two athletic teams to practice at the same time. In addition, the Janssen-Lagorio Performance Center houses an athletic training room, equipment storage and modern changing facilities, which are utilized by both Pacific intercollegiate programs and Campus Recreation programs.
The gymnasium received a major upgrade in the Spring of 2017 with the addition of the Janssen-Lagorio Performance Center. An expansion of the Janssen-Lagorio gymnasium, the Janssen-Lagorio Performance Center gives Pacific student-athletes an edge for succeeding in West Coast Conference competition. The 2,861-square-foot performance center, which provides exercise equipment and weights for weight and conditioning training and a "fuel station" offering quick and nutritious snacks for student-athletes, was made possible in part by a $1 million donation form Kathleen Lagorio-Janssen and Dean Janssen, prominent Central Valley philanthropists and business leader.
