No. 4 Pacific Defeats No. 9 Long Beach State, 15-10, To Conclude Regular Season Action

Long Beach, Calif. – Led by junior Tom Koning (Poway, Calif.), Pacific's men's water polo team defeated No. 9 Long Beach State, 15-10. With the win the Tigers improved to 16-9 (4-4 MPSF) on the season, while the 49ers fell to 7-15 (0-8 MPSF) on the year.

Pacific was paced by junior Tom Koning (Poway, Calif.) who tallied five goals for the Tigers, while freshman Alex Malkis (Yoqneam, Israel) had eight saves in the cage. Also scoring goals for the Tigers were Lance Morrison (Fairfield, Calif.), Balazs Erdelyi (Eger, Hungary), Balazs Szabo (Budapest, Hungary), Goran Tomasevic (Split, Croatia), Joey Gullikson (Sonoma, Calif.), Tyler Reardon (Oak Park, Calif.) and Daniel Lungu (Netanya, Israel).

The Tigers continue action on Friday, November 26 at the MPSF tournament hosted by Stanford at the Avery Aquatic Complex. Pacific will face off against the No. 3 seed UCLA Bruins at 1:30 p.m.
