The Tigers gracefully defeated the NAIA #1 Fresno Pacific University Sunbirds 5-2.  The ladies moved about the court with ease and they were able to enjoy themselves while remaining focused.  They utilized a strategy that complemented their abilities and they employed their strengths.

Highlights from the match include doubles matches that featured duo Jenifer Widjaja and Julia Hansen as well as partners Olga Gumenyuk and Susan Te.  Jenifer Widjaja and Julia Hansen had the doubles match point win with a confident 8 game pro set score of 8-5, while partners Olga Gumenyuk and Susan Te nearly shut out their opponents with a score of 8-1.

The singles matches also had several highlights.  Jenifer Widjaja defeated her opponent in a swift two sets 6-2, 6-0.  Julia Hansen reigned surpreme in her battle against Valladares with a final score of 6-7(5), 6-3, 10-2.  Olga Gumenyuk confidently defeated her opponent with a score of 6-0, 6-1, and Susan Te exhibited great skill when defeating her opponent McFeeters 6-0, 6-2.

Pacific improved their season record to 3-4 and now prepare to face UC Davis on March 4th in Davis, California.
