Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Women's Tennis team defeated Cal Poly 4-0 on Sunday, March 8 at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts. The Tigers improved to 7-3 overall, while the Mustangs dropped to 1-8.
The Tigers took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. The Tigers won the match with singles victories from Hana Ritterova, Gergana Boncheva and Antonella Santeusanio, all in straight sets.
"Today was a good win to finish a great weekend," said Head Coach Charlotte Scatliffe. "Our ladies came out to win today and stuck to the game plan. We have a tough match on Tuesday against Liberty in which we hope to keep building off of and continue to improve and get better."
The Tigers return to action with a home match against Liberty on Tuesday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m.
