VS. PORTLAND
- Pacific leads the all-time series, 12-2, which includes a 6-1 record on the road.
- Last Season the Tigers split its series with the Pilots, winning in straight sets on Nov. 10, 2019 at the Chiles Center.
VS. GONZAGA
- The Tigers have controlled their series with Gonzaga, compiling an overall record of 11-3, which includes a series sweep against the Bulldogs in 2018.
- Pacific is a perfect 7-0 at the Martin Centre in Spokane, Wash.
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE TIGERS
- Pacific opened its 2019 campaign with a 10-6 overall record, which includes a 2-2 West Coast Conference record. The Tigers opened conference play with road victories at Saint Mary's and San Francisco, before falling to nationally-ranked BYU and San Diego (RV) at the Alex G. Spanos Center last weekend.
- As a team, Pacific tops their opponents in digs per set (14.4), kills per set (13.2), assists per set (12.2) and service aces per set (1.6)
- Riley Patterson leads the Tigers offense with 3.92 points and 3.45 kills per set, while also contributing a team-leading 18 service aces.
- Gabby Leo dishes out a team-high 6.09 assists per set, while libber Jadyn Tubbs averages 4.33 digs per set.
SCOUTING PORTLAND
- Portland wrapped up non-conference play with an 8-3 record. The Pilots have moved closer to .500 (8-7) after dropping its first four matches of WCC play. They have been out-scored by their conference foes, 12-1 in sets played.
- The Pilots serving has been stellar this season, averaging 1.98 per set, which currently ranks fifth in the NCAA.
- Liz Reich (3.40) and Shayla Hoeft (3.24) each average over 3.00 kills per set to lead the Pilots offensive efforts.
- Libero Carey Williams averages a whopping 4.55 digs per set, while Katie Barker has totaled a team-best 48 blocks (0.87 per set).
SCOUTING GONZAGA
- Gonzaga enters the weekend with a 6-10 record, including an 0-4 record against its WCC foes. The Bulldogs finished non-conference play with a 6-6 record before dropping its matches against BYU, San Diego, LMU, and Pepperdine over the last two weeks.
- Sarah Penner returns as one of the Bulldogs top hitters, leading her squad with 3.11 kills per set and 3.84 points per set.
