SAN FRANCISCO - The Pacific women's soccer team (5-1-10, 0-1-4) recorded its fourth straight tie in WCC play with a 1-1 decision against San Francisco (5-5-5, 0-3-2) on Wednesday evening. The Tigers tallied a first-half goal to take an early lead. San Francisco recorded the only tally in the second half. Pacific has now completed 16 contests this season with just one loss.
"Obviously not the result we wanted, but everyone in our conference is fighting for wins, so you have to try and figure out how to be good for the full 90 minutes. We just haven't done that yet in conference," said Co-Head Coach

Brenna Crump, who leads the WCC in saves, tallied four saves in goal. Senior
Lauren Frohan fired four shots, including two on goal. Senior
Melani Medina also put a shot on goal.
The Tigers put three shots on goal in the first half, with the first strike on the scoreboard coming in the 25th minute as Johnson found Nyby, who found the back of the net. The Dons found the equalizer in the second half, scoring in the 57th minute, one of four shots the Dons put on goal in the second half. San Francisco finished the contest with five shots on goal; Pacific, four.Â
"It was another tough WCC road match," said Co-Head Coach
Danesha Adams. "We will continue to work on things moving forward and be ready for a big home match on Saturday vs. Pepperdine."
The Tigers are back home at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, to take on Pepperdine.Â
