Box Score STOCKTON, Calif. – The #4 Pacific men's water polo team moves to 11-1 with a 14-11 win over #14 UC San Diego in the team's first game of the MPSF Tournament at Stanford.
Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week sophomore Mihailo Vukazic was 100% in the game, scoring four goals on four attempts to lead the team.
Following close behind Vukazic were both co-captains, senior Jeremie Cote and sophomore Reuel D'Souza, with three goals apiece.
Senior Bogdan Djerkovic, senior Rene Peralta, senior Matthew Hosmer and junior Flynn Howarth each scored one for the Tigers.
Senior Djordje Stanic led the Tigers in assists with three. He was followed by Cote with two. Hosmer, D'Souza and senior Liam Egan each had one assist for Pacific.
Graduate student goalkeeper Bae Fountain had seven saves in net for the big cats.
Cote had two steals to help keep the ball with the Tigers. Fountain, Peralta and D'Souza each had one.
