STOCKTON, Calif. – Carrying momentum into its home tournament, the Pacific men's golf team hosts the 2024 Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational Monday through Wednesday at the Stockton Golf & Country Club. 
 
The Tigers are eager to get back to the course after earning a runner-up finish last week at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational and securing two votes in the latest Golfweek poll for the first time in program history. Pacific has a pair of top two finishes as a team this season, including a first-place team championship at The Goat in Annapolis, Maryland.
 
"We are excited to host our home tournament this week!" head coach John Cook said. "The team is looking forward to competing and looking to get back into contention for a title." 
 
The Tigers will showcase their full ten-member team over the course of the three-day tournament. 
 
Sophomore Carlos Astiazaran is at the forefront of the Tigers' lineup. Astiazaran set a freshman school record last year with a 71.4 stroke average, and recorded a top ten finish last week at the tournament hosted by Cal.
 
Junior Travis Robbie and junior Timothy Jung are coming off great performances at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, each earning a tie in the top four on the individual leaderboard.
 
Junior Deitrek Gill and sophomore Justin Bai round out Pacific's five-man lineup. Gill has a pair of top ten finishes this season while Bai looks to steady his play in his fourth tournament as a Tiger.
 
Pacific will have five individuals competing alongside the main five in redshirt junior Daniel Henely, junior Ian Fritz, freshman Brasen Briones, freshman Josh Stuart and sophomore Samuel Pampling.
 
The Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational is a Par-71 with 6,566 yards. Live scoring for the three-day event can be found here. First tee times begin at 7:45 am on Monday. Admission is free for all guests.
