STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's soccer program battled to a 2-2 draw against Portland Wednesday night at Knoles Field.
The Tigers (2-5-3, 0-2-1 WCC) found a late tying goal by freshman
Ezekiel Padilla to result in a draw with the Pilots (2-4-5, 0-0-2 WCC). Pacific scored in the 85th minute off Padilla's free kick that banked off the post and in.
While Portland outshot Pacific in the shot attempt margin, 15-8, the Tigers registered more on target, five shots on goal to the Pilots' four. Five different Tigers recorded a shot on goal with freshman
Bele Alomerovic and Padilla finding the back of the net.

Joshua Moya made his 10th start of the season, totaling two saves on the night.

Following a scoreless first half, the Tigers jumped out in front as a one-timer by sophomore
Massimo Erfani was initially saved my the Pilots' goalie before Alomerovic tapped it in for the ice breaker in the 47th minute. Alomerovic collected his first collegiate goal and shot on goal in the effort.
The Pilots responded two minutes later to knot the game up at 1-1, and take the 2-1 lead on a backdoor play in the 69th minute.
With the Tigers pressing late, a free kick just outside the box was lasered off the post and into the netting for Padilla's second goal of the season and second straight game with a goal.
The Tigers and Pilots battled to the final whistle, ultimately ending in a 2-2 score.
Pacific hits the road for its next match, facing LMU at 4 pm on Saturday.
