STOCKTON, Calif.- Following its trip to Southern California, the Pacific beach volleyball team remains on the road for its lone contest this week. The Tigers travel to Moraga for a conference match with Saint Mary's on Saturday, March 23 at 3:30 p.m.
The Tigers captured a pairs win as they opened the weekend in San Luis Obispo against Santa Clara. Sophomore
Josephine Kinlan and junior
Ashley Davies collected the 13-21, 21-19, 15-11 win over the Broncos for their third win together this season.
Kinlan and Davies lead all Tigers with three wins playing at twos, while pairs one and four have each notched wins. Graduate student
Jadyn Tubbs and senior
Miranda Baptista grabbed a fours win against Sacramento State in Santa Cruz, while senior captain
Camdyn Albrecht and sophomore
Kelea Saxton Vaka earned a one pairs victory over CSU Bakersfield. Freshman
Mia Rossman and senior
Juliana Alexander clinched a fours win against San Jose State.
It's the 23rd meeting between the Tigers and the Gaels since the inaugural season for Pacific beach volleyball. The series opened 3-3 before Saint Mary's took the edge starting in 2016. Pacific goes for its first win over the Gaels since then, having last won in Moraga in 2015.
