MORAGA, Calif.- The Pacific beach volleyball team faced Saint Mary's for a head-to-head match in Moraga searching for its first conference win of the season, but the Tigers fell 5-0 to the Gaels.
Sophomore
Josephine Kinlan and junior
Ashley Davies clinched the first set in their pair twos match 21-18. The match stayed close in all three sets, but the Gaels captured the second set and the tiebreaker to clinch the match.
Senior
Camdyn Albrecht and sophomore
Kelea Saxton Vaka battled at ones, but fell to Saint Mary's 21-12, 21-16. Freshman
Mia Rossman and senior
Juliana Alexander took on Saint Mary's threes pair but fell 21-13, 21-6. Freshman
Alessia Brown made her debut with senior
Miranda Baptista at fours, but the duo fell 21-10, 21-4.
The Tigers return next week for their midseason tournament in Santa Cruz, where they'll face conference foes Santa Clara, LMU, Portland and Pepperdine.
