SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.- Senior
Rian Dirmeyer and sophomore
Jordan Hayes were both named to the West Coast Conference's All-Academic First Team for their demonstration of academic and athletic excellence this season, as announced by the league this afternoon.

Brian Kolze shared. "They are great examples of the true student-athlete by how hard they work on the field and in the classroom."
Student-athletes must hold a minimum 3.20 cumulative GPA and sophomore standing while making significant contributions to the team to be eligible for the recognition.
It's the third straight All-Academic First Team recognition for Dirmeyer, having made the WCC's All-Academic First Team in 2022 and 2023. She led the Tigers with a .359 batting average, 56 hits, 25 RBI and six home runs in 51 appearances. The shortstop scored 21 runs and recorded 14 doubles, while leading the Tigers with 18 total multi-hit games. She led the team defensively in assists (85), which ranked sixth in the WCC.
Hayes took home her first honor after a successful sophomore campaign. She held a .216 batting average, while recording 13 runs and 30 hits this season. The second baseman earned the start in all 53 contests on the season and was second on the team in RBI (22). Defensively, Hayes recorded 89 putouts and 78 assists.
