STOCKTON, Calif.- The Pacific women's basketball team finalizes its roster ahead of the 2024-25 season, welcoming sophomore transfer Marina Radocaj to the roster by way of Arizona State, as announced by head coach
Bradley Davis.
"We're fired up to add Marina to this coming year's roster," head coach
Bradley Davis shared. "She's a gifted athlete with great length, and she's an excellent shooter. She's also as competitive as it gets, and I know she'll be an impactful addition to the Tigers. I have every confidence in the world that Marina will be a great fit with the Pacific Women's Basketball Family."
The 6-3 guard/forward hails from Richmond, British Columbia and spent her first collegiate season with the Sun Devils after ultimately choosing Arizona State over Boston College and Gonzaga. Radocaj saw limited action as a freshman, appearing in seven games after sustaining an injury during Pac-12 conference play.
She made her season debut against UTSA, assisting Arizona State in its double-digit victory over the Roadrunners. The rising sophomore scored her first collegiate bucket off a buzzer beater three-pointer at the half and ended the game with three points and a steal in six minutes of action.
Radocaj was highly touted coming out of high school, known for her prowess on the court and excellence in the classroom.
A former dual sport athlete, Radocaj nabbed spots on Canada's U16 and U17 basketball teams while earning MVP honors in volleyball after guiding her team to a provincial championship title in 2022. It was one of two MVP distinctions that year for the Canadian.
Nine months prior to that title, she led R.A. McMath Secondary School to its first ever provincial championship in basketball while collecting MVP and first team honors. In that title game, she posted a 20-point, 20-rebound double-double while grabbing three steals and dishing out three assists.
During her time with the U16 squad, Radocaj averaged 9.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, earning the start in all six contests en route to Canada's runner-up finish at FIBA Americas.
In the classroom, Radocaj was a standout and garnered honor roll recognitions all four years at McMath. She maintained that status in her lone season in Tempe, collecting honor roll recognition from Arizona State.
A kinesiology major out of ASU, Radocaj plans to continue her education within the same field at Pacific.
