Pacific Swimming Announces 2024-25 Schedule

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's and women's swimming teams have revealed their 2024-25 schedules, as announced by sixth-year head coach Katelyne Herrington.

"If you have never been to a swim meet before, this is the year you will want to come out," Herrington said. "We will have our most talented and diverse team competing in over five years. From our 16 seniors to our 14 incoming Tigers, we will have the depth and talent this year that will make us more competitive against in-conference and non-conference teams."

Both teams kick off the campaign at home, inviting Cal State East Bay's women's team and Fresno Pacific to the Douglass M. Eberhardt Aquatics Center on Saturday, Sept. 28.

The Tigers hit the road for their lone meet of October, traveling to Santa Cruz to face UC Santa Cruz and San Jose State's women's team on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Pacific returns home and welcomes in Cal State Bakersfield on Saturday, Nov. 2. Fast forward three weeks, the Tigers get a preview of the site for the 2025 MPSF Conference Championships, taking part in the Trailblazer Invite in Saint George, Utah from Nov. 21-23.

Wrapping up the calendar year, Pacific will compete in the UNLV Invite for the second season in a row from Dec. 16-18.

January presents the busiest month of the season for the Tigers, competing in five events beginning with a meet in Riverside, Calif., with California Baptist and Claremont's women's team on Saturday, Jan. 11. The following weekend, Pacific hosts Cal Poly on Friday, Jan. 17, and UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, Jan. 18.

The Tigers greet crosstown rivals UC Davis for a home meet with the women's team on Saturday, Jan. 25. Senior Day for the Tigers invites Simon Fraser to Stockton for the regular season finale on Sunday, Jan. 26.

MPSF Conference Championships will take place from February 19-22 and the National Invitational Championships, hosted by the College Swim Coaches Association of America in Ocala, Florida, runs from March 13-15.

The men and women's swimming teams are both looking forward to building on from last year's season.

"I'm super excited to be at home for more dual meets this year to show off our increased depth in each event to a home crowd," Mitchell Hopper said.

"I'm extremely excited for our season meet schedule and the racing opportunities we have both against teams within and outside of our conference," Paige Sondgeroth said. "We're set up to have some great competitions leading up to our MPSF Conference meet and mid-season meets. I'm also really excited for the number of home meets we have because the energy that comes with racing in our home pool is unmatched. The team has been working so hard over the summer and we are ready to race."
