Biography

2010 (RS Junior):
Frantz saw limited action in his third season at Pacific. He recorded 36 saves in five contests for a 7.20 saves per game average.

2009 (RS Sophomore):
Frantz recorded 17 saves, five steals and one assist in four games for the Tigers. He recorded his season-high eight saves against Redlands on Sept. 12 at the Inland Empire Classic.

2008 (Sophomore):
Frantz redshirted his second year at Pacific.

2007 (Freshman):
Frantz appeared in one game for the Tigers, playing three periods. He totaled seven blocks and three steals in the match.

High School:
Frantz attended Brother Rice High School in Chicago, Ill., where he earned four varsity letters in water polo and three in swimming. In 2005 and 2006, he earned all-state honors in water polo in addition to being a state qualifier in swimming. He also holds the record for the most saves in a state tournament with 44 and played on the U.S. National Youth Team for two years.

Personal:
Frantz was born in Oak Lawn, Ill., and is the son of Mic and Peggy Frantz. In his spare time, he enjoys longboarding and playing ultimate Frisbee. In his fifth year at Pacific, Frantz is pursuing a degree in music management and communication.
