Caitlin Mathews joined the Pacific staff full-time in July 2023 as Coordinator of Athletic Compliance after serving as a part-time Compliance Assistant the year prior.
In her current role, she works closely with the Director of Compliance to ensure all 17 Pacific athletic programs adhere to NCAA regulations. This includes monitoring countable athletic activities, preparing for official and unofficial campus visits, and overseeing general eligibility of current and prospective student-athletes. She recently acquired the responsibility of monitoring Name, Image, and Likeness activity on campus and is the primary point of contact for the NIL platform, INFLCR.
Her passion for athletics stems from a collegiate softball career where she competed at the University of Dubuque, a Division III institution in Iowa. Upon receiving her bachelor's degree in exercise science and master's degree in business administration, she joined the Spartans as an Assistant Coach and also executed Athletic Administration in the department.
Prior to Pacific, Caitlin also spent time in Corporate Wellness, Wellness Management and Lululemon Leadership.
Mathews, an Iowa native, now resides in Stockton with her husband Mason, daughter Lowen and dog Veda.
