Tim Buisson joined the Pacific swimming coaching staff in July 2023.
Buisson comes to Stockton from Loyola University New Orleans, where he served as an assistant coach for men’s and women’s swimming for five years from 2018 to 2023. He has 11 years of experience coaching at the AAU club level, coaching Olympic Trial qualifiers, NCAA Division I National Championship qualifiers, NCAA All-Americans and multiple high school state champions.
The Hattiesburg, Miss. native swam for two seasons at Loyola University New Orleans, earning 2018 All-American honors in the 400-yard medley relay and was a six-time All-American Honorable Mention. He transferred to the school for its inaugural season in 2016-17 and was the program’s first-ever captain.

Before swimming with the Wolf Pack, Buisson spent one season at South Georgia State. There, he was a two-time NJCAA All-American. He helped lead his team to a second-place finish at the 2016 NJCAA Swimming and Diving National Championships. His freshman season was spent at Darton State before the swimming program was cut.

Buisson has a bachelor’s degree in business administration marketing from Loyola University New Orleans.
