Huntington Beach, Calif. The Pacific men's tennis team moved their record to 1-1 on their Southern California road swing as they defeated No. 75 Dartmouth 6-1 in a neutral site match held in Huntington Beach, Calif on Sunday, Mar. 19. With the win, Pacific runs their record on the season to 11-4.
The Big Green took the doubles point, but the Tigers swept singles action for the second time in their last three matches.
At No. 4 singles, freshman Moritz Starke (Bamberg, Germany) was down 5-3, and 40-15 in the ninth game before rallying to win, not only the ninth game, but the nine games to follow. He closed out Dartmouth's Ari Gayer by the score of 7-5, 6-0.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Mar. 25, as they host Sacramento State at Hal Nelson Tennis Courts with a match time of 1pm.
