STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's volleyball team finishes its season over the next seven days. The Tigers end their season with two home contests, against Portland on Thursday, Nov. 17, and Gonzaga on Saturday, Nov. 19, followed by a season-closing road contest at San Francisco on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
The Tigers recorded 29 kills during their most recent match, a three-set contest at the Jenny Craig Pavilion against #2 San Diego. Senior Biamba Kabengele led the team with nine kills. Junior Alexa Edwards and freshman Emily Van Groningen also contributed to the offensive effort, accumulating five kills apiece.

Elin Larsson contributed 10 additional kills to help the attack. Along with Charity Bradley's six blocks, Keilani Mumolo contributed 13 digs on defense.
Since the first-ever meeting between the two programs in 2007, the Tigers have a 16-5 record against the Pilots, with 14 wins coming after rejoining the conference in 2013. At home, the Tigers have a 9-1 record against the Pilots, with the only loss coming during the 2018 season.
Later in the week, the Tigers take on Gonzaga in what is sure to be an action-packed match. On the offensive side of the ball, Zoe Thiros leads the Zags with 296 kills. For the defense, Kelsie White leads the Zags with 73 blocks on the season.
In 20 all-time meetings between the two programs, the Tigers hold a 16-5 advantage over the Bulldogs since the first meeting in 1997. The Tigers have earned seven wins over the Zags at the Alex G. Spanos Center and defeated the Bulldogs in four sets earlier this season to open conference play.
The Tigers then go on the road to close the regular season at San Francisco. When the two teams last met, the Dons' Claire Crijns recorded a match-high 15 kills. Crijns also added seven digs, five block assists, and two service aces in the victory over the Tigers.
The Tigers hold a commanding 31-6 advantage over the Dons since the first meeting in the 1975 season. The Dons, however, came out victorious in a five-set affair at the Alex G. Spanos Center on October 22.
In addition, during that contest, Abby Wadas and Shyia Richardson both had double-digit dig totals, tallying 19 and 10 digs, respectively. Orsula Stakaalso finished the game with a season-high nine block assists.
