MORAGA, Calif. – The Pacific beach volleyball team dropped a 5-0 decision at Saint Mary's Wednesday afternoon at the Saint Mary's Beach Volleyball Complex.
Coming out with a different look, the Tigers featured new pairings across the board.
Sammie Sheppard and
Hania Taduran, playing with each other for the first time this season, faced off against Jennifer "Boo" Laird and Jasmin Suarez at the first doubles position. Shepard and Taduran were the only pairings to earn a set during the dual match, taking the first set 21-16 before ultimately dropping the following two sets.
In an exhibition match,
Megan Nishimura and Sheppard competed together for the first time this season and captured the first set, 21-15 but dropped the next two sets, 24-22, 20-22 in a very competitive match.
