STOCKTON, Calif.—Pacific men's soccer (4-5-4, 0-2-1 WCC) continues to look for its first West Coast Conference victory of the season as it gets ready for two upcoming matches. The Tigers will travel to Moraga for a meeting with Saint Mary's at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Pacific will then host Gonzaga for Senior Night and its final home game of the season at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Fifth-year senior
Derick Roque is Pacific's leading scorer with 17 points on eight goals and one assist. The South Gate, Calif., native was recently selected as one of the top 100 college players in the country by Top College Drawer. Roque is second in goals and third in points in the WCC. In national ranks, he is 25th in goals per game (0.7), 34th in total goals, 40th in points per game (1.4) and 56th in total points.
Moya has seen 11 starts in between the pipes. The Gilroy, Calif., native has collected 38 saves and posted two shutouts. Moya notched a season-high seven stops in the 1-1 draw against LMU on Oct. 7.
Pacific will look for its first win against Saint Mary's. The Gaels lead the all-time series, 8-0-1. The only time the Tigers have been unbeaten in the series was in 2017 when both teams played to a 0-0 draw.
Saint Mary's is led in scoring by Riley Lynch who has 16 points on six goals and four assists. In the league, he is fourth in points (69th nationally) and goals (78th nationally) while seventh in assists.
Goalkeeper Jack Landreth is fourth in the WCC in shutouts (3.0) and saves per game (3.4). His saves per game are also ranked 73rd in the country.
Gonzaga leads the all-time series 4-4-1. But Pacific won the last two meetings in 2021 and 2022. The Bulldogs lead the WCC in total saves with 57. Goalkeeper Wessel Sprangers is the league's leader in saves per game (26th nationally), recording an average of 4.5.
Gonzaga has two double-figure scorers in Stefano Campisi (13 points on five goals and three assists) and Chris Swider (10 points on four goals and two assists).
Next week, the Tigers wrap up the regular season with two road games beginning with San Diego at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4.
